Gloria McCamley
Research Manager
Gloria McCamley has more than 12 years of human resources generalist experience within the financial services, investment banking, e–commerce, and retail industries. She has held generalist positions at OppenheimerFunds, Prudential Securities, and ServiceMagic where her focus was on employee relations, recruiting, training and development, and compensation and benefits administration.
Gloria has extensive experience designing and building the human resources function for start–up organizations. She understands the unique environments of fast–growing companies as they evolve from private start–ups to publicly owned entities. Gloria applied this experience while working at SerivceMagic, which is now a successful operating business of IAC/InterActiveCorp, and a San Francisco investment banking firm, Volpe, Brown, Whelan & Company, which was recently purchased by Prudential Securities.
Prior to joining HR Search Firm, Gloria worked for The Sports Authority, a national sporting goods retailer. While there, she was instrumental in developing and implementing a total rewards program for the newly combined organization, which resulted from the merger between Gart Sports and The Sports Authority.
Gloria is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, and she holds a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification. Gloria actively volunteers for Junior Achievement, at her children's elementary school and as a coach with the Skyline Soccer Association.
Gloria holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Penn State University.
